Hello guys,my name is Harry, i m new to this forum and i m a beginner photographer..
this is my first bird shot

Harry,

Welcome to PCI.
You will find lot of good reading here regarding photography.

As far as birds are concern I prefer to have sun (light) on my side(ie behind me) so
that details are clearly visible.

Best accessory of camera is 3" behind it,

Hello Harry.

Welcome to the PCI Forum.  I like the graphic qualities of your image.  It's good that you used a shallow depth of field to separate the crow a bit from the softer background.

I agree that the image needs a bit of light from the front also.  It would be good to see some additional definition in the feathers, and perhaps a catchlight in the eyes of the bird.

Thank you for sharing your image.  Here's wishing you a fantastic journey in photography.  It's a hobby that can keep one amused for a lifetime.
