Jasii,

Would you want your 20 entries "excepted" for USD $25?

Thank you for taking a look at our competition.

We struggled with what price to charge as an entry fee and we are still not sure if we got it right.

It is too late for us to change this year but any advice for next year's contest would be very appreciated.

Hello Ralph.

I have no idea about the suitability of the price either.  My comments were about having a little fun with a word wrongly chosen.  You used a form of "except" instead of "accept" in your text.

except = to exclude or set aside, to take out, set onto another plane, to eject or refuse from consideration, to deny inclusion

You see, it seemed a bit humorous to me that one would pay to have his images "excepted."

accept = to verify as correct, to affirm, to receive with gladness or approval, or to mark or verify as suitable for some purpose

Anyway, I wish you every success with the Nature's Best Photography Asia Photo Contest.  I hope you are able to accept many fine images as entries which are exceptional in quality, and worthy of your noble efforts.

Happy Day.   :)
