Tamron 18-200 or Canon 55-250 best for Canon 1100D?
« on: January 15, 2017, 01:40:43 PM »
Hi all,
I'm a beginner in DSLR photography currently looking for a good zoom lens  for my travels. My budget is a bit on the lower side, I have a Canon 1100D and would like to know whether its better to buy Tamron 18-200 or Canon 55-250mm lens? I like capturing photographs of birds, animals and also heritage places. Please explain the difference between these two. I want to make sure what I buy is worth the money. Thanks a lot
Regards,
SJ

The 55-250 doesn't have the lower focal lengths. But I guess you have the kit lens? In which case I recommend the Canon 55-250.

18-200 would be a walk around lens no need to change now and then 18mm gives you a wider option for indoors and heritage structures on other hand 55-250 you have an advantage of 50mm more.  For you I would recommend 18-200 entry level but good for your camera
