Bird Photography
« on: July 06, 2017, 10:18:53 AM »
Hello Everyone!
I was keen that should one use fill flash in bird photography in India?
I certainly have used it for quite some time. Would you recommend me using fill flash in bird photography in Indian Sancturies?
I'm asking because usually in Indian Sancturies there is plenty of sunlight but sometimes when the bird gets into heavy cover; I'm only left to use flash so, should I use it on daily way basis everywhere or should I stop using it?
Thank You.

I am also a bird lover and our local birding group openly discourage use of flash in field. That said: will flash have damaging
effect on bird is highly debatable. Hence, it's upto individual to exercise restrain.

Most of us have got really good result with birds in Indian condition so it surprises us the need of flash. It's about staying in comfort zone.
