Snowy Day
« on: December 11, 2017, 12:31:26 AM »
Hello Folks.

The image below was taken on December 9.  Here in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains of North Georgia (USA) we had a very unusual early December snowfall ... about eight inches.  The trees appear to have leaves, but most do not.  To me the trees remind me of some infrared pictures I have seen of foliage.   The white is actually tufts of snow which have clung to the twigs and limbs.

The overall effect seems a bit fitting for the Christmas season.  I hope you and your family will have a splendid Holiday Season, and a happy and prosperous New Year 2018.

Some say that those of us who like to talk about cameras should instead go and take pictures. I say we should go and also take pictures.
