GAME - Let's play the Color Game!
« on: February 17, 2014, 11:52:45 PM »
Hi Guys.

I recall playing The Color Game back in the days of shutterfreeze. Unfortunately, I cannot recall the exact "Rules" for it. Someone please remind us if you know.  Anyway, I will kick it off with

RED

This is a wheel from an old tractor, made back when tractors had metal treads like wagons.

Camera  Nikon D700,   Focal Length  135mm,   Exposure  1/1000,   F Number  f/16,  ISO  1600

P.S.  March 1, 2014

Hi Gang.  We got the following information from Doc Pushpinder (satchmo), who started The Color Game on shutterfreeze years ago. Starting after his post on page three, let's use the RULES from that time.  Check this out:

Quote
... I did start this on shutterfreeze.com and had equal participation from old timers like Henry, Ram, Ashim, Arif Siddiqui, Dhaval Momaya, Adiseshanaik and many more. MY Handle there and on JJMPF was/ is satchmo.

.... The rules we followed were to put pictures with colors in the same order as in the rainbow....VIBGYOR.......only, the order was reversed. [like this] ....

.... So, we started with Red and went on to orange, yellow, green, blue and for indigo/violet, we chose some shade of purple/magenta. And the whole cycle repeated.

Henry, would request you to put the rules in the first post for everyone to follow.

Some say that those of us who like to talk about cameras should instead go and take pictures. I say we should go and also take pictures.

Cool stuff Henry...you reminded me about the game some time ago...i started off a thread somewhere in the gallery section...but its closed now - http://photographyclubofindia.com/boards/index.php?topic=710.0

So lets play again....

All you need to do is say which colour you'd like to see next....and I'll dig around and see if i can find a photograph that has that colour as the main theme or subject before someone beats me to it :)

Earlier thread did not end abruptly
It ended with the "Baby Pink" since no ladies onboard else it would have been alive
